TIME TO MOVE ON......let your move, move you to a better place

What STUFF are you packing into your boxes to bring into your new home? Aunt Agas tea set or Tim's tool set – neither of which are used, but you are holding onto for sentimental reasons? What possessions are possessing you?
What physical stuff you are lugging around that is taking up space, requires an extra box to pack it into, an extra room to store it, or a shelf to display it? When you realise that you can take nothing with you when you leave the living world, and you realise that it will always be a part of you, because inevitably it is already “in storage” in that wonderful place called the mind, then it becomes easier to let it go.

What are you holding onto that's holding you back? Like forging ahead into an alliance with someone who has no idea we're still hurting over what they said or did in 1985? Kinda like taking poison and waiting for that person to die huh? Pointless.

The shame is not in having baggage, it's in KEEPING it. So, what can you let go? A move can be cathartic in many ways. Once you decide to clear the clutter, bin the baggage, and dump the junk – you become more at peace and realise that is it not about accumulation, but reduction, re-evaluation and revitalisation.

If you require help in this process, give me a call. I will help your move, move you to a better place and help you create a home that ultimately cleanses and heals, a home that will constantly be an ongoing story of you....

"Soul Service"

This is a “Soul Service” for those who recently find themselves “single” again and need someone to put up pictures, curtain rails and the like; as well as advice on how to get back on track with their lives - from the safety of their home.

Life in the single lane after being a "twosome" can be pretty gruesome! What once was simple seems insurmountable. Many of us are so focused on looking backwards and dredging up our past, that we can't enjoy the present - let alone dream of a future. We're hanging in limbo hoping that the situation will revert back to the way it was before. The good news is that most of the time it won't.

We are hobbled by our fears, most of which are completely irrational and groundless. But until we develop a new vision for our own individual future, we won't get anywhere. And as long as we are looking backwards, we aren't developing that vision. And in doing so we actually hurt the stuff that IS important in our lives. So! take time to dust yourself off, pick yourself up and start looking at what you have.

You have a chance to grow, a chance to live your dreams, a chance to learn, a chance to improve, and, belive it or not you will find this to be a very liberating time!

Keep positive and visit my site as I will be posting articles to help you embrace this time and grow; with directions to links or sites on where to go to meet interesting people; attend wine tastings; discover delicious deli 's that deliver awesome home cooked meals for the busy ones; as well as decorating tips.

Recycle, revamp, revitalize, re-introduce, revive, refresh, renew, regenerate
It really is remarkable !! what you can do with YOU and your home!!

Tile Philosophy

Tiles needn't be dull and boring, another way of rejuvinating the tiles is by writing fragments of philosophy, or quirky snippets.

Picture Placement

These are examples of the arrangments of pictures and photos on your wall in an artistic way.

Interior Motives

A move is rated right up there in the trauma wards of marriage, divorce and death, and nowdays, most likely to be a combination of all these things!!

Unfortunately, life does not stop for one to dreamily contemplate the placement of furniture or pictures in their newly acquired home. It either temporarily stays where you placed it (permanently!) or if you are numb and still reeling, it pretty much remains where the removal guys dumped it, not so?

This is where Heather from Interior Motives lends a helping hand. She will come in, make you a cup of tea and discuss with you what ideas you may have, and then gets to work putting up your pictures, placing your objets d'art and has a knack of revitalising your furniture in such a way that when you come home, you have a restful sanctum where inner peace is restored.

Heather can be contacted on 082 490 1415, (011) 787 7319 or by email heatherjack@gmail.com
